We are upgrading one of our IP Transit Feeds from 1Gbps to 10Gbps (From Cogent Communications) at our Volta Data Centre Location.

Work involved is low risk but Potentially service affecting.

Cogent will be moving our Fibre Cable on their hardware to a 10Gb Port
We will be swapping out the Fibre SFP Module from 1Gb to 10Gb and reconnecting the Fibre Cable.

We will shutdown the BGP Session at around 7:15pm on 04/02/2020, this will cause traffic to reroute via another network path.

Once the required work is complete, we shall make sure the connection is OK and then restore the BGP Session which will then restore the original routes to our network.
