We are installing 2 new APC Automatic Power Transfer Switches (ATS) at our Volta Data Centre in Rack 1 and 2, from 19:00 and 22:00 hours on 30/05/2018
This will replace existing ATS Hardware. The ATS Hardware provides redundancy power to our Brocade Switches.
All our servers connect to our network via two independent network switches, We expect customers to notice a couple of packet drops, while traffic reroutes via another switch - We don't expect active calls to drop. We will power down each switch one at a time to ensure continued service.
Services at risk: Incoming Calls, Outgoing Calls, Hosted VoIP, Internet Connectivity.
This work is required in order to improve our network infrastructure and ensure continued high levels of resiliency, reliability, security and scalability.
